Luke is a 34 year old Producer, Director, Writer and Actor. He has worked as a successful acting coach for over ten years now and has worked for many different companies, Schools, TAFE’s and Councils throughout Australia.

Over the years he has taught both acting and film-making courses to aspiring students and he has also managed and owned his own franchise acting school in Melbourne Australia for several years before selling it to travel Australia. Luke has had lead roles in TVC's, theatre productions, and guest roles in film and Television including shows such as Blue Heelers, Stingers, Kath & Kim and Stiff.

Luke traveled over to Stella Adler in Hollywood in 2000 to pursue his acting craft and on return to Australia he moved back stage and behind the camera to take on Writing, Directing and Producing his own creative ideas, and has now directed and produced over 35 plays and made many short films and music clips.

Luke has since returned to LA several times to work with actors trying to break into Hollywood and has helped many artists to launch themselves into very exciting careers over the years and plans to continue doing so.


Robert is a professional actor, stuntman and specialty entertainer with 25 years experience in stage, screen and television. He is a graduate of Drake University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts emphasis in Acting.

Robert worked for 15 years in Los Angeles. His film and television credits there include: The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Days of our Lives, Profiler, Weird Science, To the Ends of Time. In live performance Robert was the fight director and understudy for the Droogs for the Company of Angels production of 'A Clockwork Orange.' In LA Robert has been involved in over 20 different live stunt shows and has performed over 12,000 high falls.

Robert is a member of the Screen Actor Guild, American Federation of Radio and Television Artists and has a Stunt Actor grading through Actors Equity. His Australia credits include: I Frankenstein, The Pacific, Knowing, Underbelly, Jeffrey Wright's Macbeth, Winners and Losers, City Homicide, Rush, Tripping Over, Ned Kelly, Bastard Boys, Salem's Lot, The Extra, McLeod's Daughters, Neighbours, Ponderosa, Stingers, Surprise Surprise and various TVC's.

Robert's love is live theatre and he has provided fight direction and/or action training for the Melbourne Theatre Company, VCA, Australian Shakespeare Company, National Theatre, Red Stitch Theatre and Cheltenham Light Opera Co.

Robert currently teaches ongoing classes and workshops in Action, Acro and Acting for adults and kids. Robert also provides private training geared to the professional or student by teaching and cultivating a wide range of skills.


John Gauci has an incredible reputation; he is a tireless advocate for the arts and is a realistic and informative acting mentor. John's background is extensive' he worked as an actor for stage, TV and film early in his career before turning his hand to directing, writing, producing and mentoring in both acting and production.

The calibre of John's mentorship reflects the calibre of talented and working actors he has coached. Kodi Smit McPhee, Stephan Dennis, Rhonda Burchmore, Gina Reily, Lynn Ruthven, David Reyne, Totti Goldsmith, Rhada Mitchell, Julie Nyall, Emily de Ravin and numerous more.

He has directed actors such as: Sam Neil, Isabella Lucas, Chris Hemsworth, Liam Hemsworth, Brett Tucker, Angus Sampson, Madeleine West, Wendy Hughes, Matthew Newton, John Wood, Kerry Armstrong and many more.


Jan's name is synonymous with Australian Television. Jan was one of the original production team members for Neighbours. She worked as Casting Director and Assistant Producer on the show for 22 years, in turn launching the careers of Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan and Guy Pearce, to name a mere few.

Dedicated to the arts, Jan's career started as a singer and actor. She performed in both Australia and New Zealand in shows such as Oliver!, Fiddler on the Roof and Hello Dolly. Her TV appearances include: Prisoner, The Sullivans and City Homicide.

Jan is a sought-after motivational speaker and TV actor-mentor in the industry - her knowledge and advice is invaluable to all aspiring and working actors.


Rebecca is a well-trained and experienced Actress, Writer, Director and Choreographer who has a passion for acting, performing and teaching. She has been teaching kids and teens Acting and Musical Theatre for over 7 years and couldn't imagine doing anything else.

She has been acting and dancing since she was 8 years old and continues to train and work in the industry, having recent success being cast in many commercials, new television series and debuting as a writer with her show 'Domestic Warfare' which she also starred in for the Melbourne Fringe Festival in 2013.

Rebecca encourages her students to challenge themselves in the craft of acting and performing and to reach for the stars. She loves seeing the excitement and spark in their eyes when they see the hard-work they are putting in pay off.


Susie is a bubbly and vibrant young actress who was born to teach. She got her first acting role aged 16 on the popular TV series, Blue Heelers and has been acting ever since. She has a vast amount of experience coming from her recent success in a range of current television commercials allowing her to be a great example for the young ones to learn from.

Susie has been a children's party performer for 4 years and has recently started her own Facepainting and Party Entertainment business.

Susie structures each class into a fun and active lesson, with lots of games and improvisation aimed at engaging the imagination and building confidence. The end of term performance provides the opportunity for children to practice lines and to understand the process of partaking in a play.


Mat has worked as a professional actor for 30 years, landing his first lead role at the age of 15 in a telemovie for the ABC called 'Breaking Up'. Mat has since worked consistently in Television, most noticeably having spent 5 years on Home and Away as Adam Cameron.

Mat's other TV credits include guest roles on: Rush, Offspring, City Homicide, Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries, All Saints, Neighbours, Blue Heelers and many more. Mat's latest Feature Film credit was the highly acclaimed 'Animal Kingdom.'Mat has worked with some of Australia's finest actors, including: Guy Pearce, Naomi Watts and Asher Keddie.

Mat had a dream at the age of 5 of becoming an actor and talks about the 6 key ingredients needed to achieve goals in the industry. Mat's philopophy is anyone can do it, as long as you follow the steps to success. Mat's classes are a mix of script work as well as mentoring on how to reach your industry goals. Mat will give you the tools you need for success and instil you with the passion required to reach your goals.


Mark has worked as a leading performer in West End Musicals such as 'Les Miserables', 'High School Musical', 'Cats' and 'The Drowsy Chaperone'.

He has taught at 2 of London's top Musical theatre institutions and we are so pleased to have him taking singing lessons at Active Performance Studio.


Michael has just returned home to Melbourne after 7 months touring with Opera Australia's 'South Pacific'. Before that Michael spent two years performing as an original cast member of 'Mary Poppins'. Other Major musicals include 'Grease - The Mega Musical!', 'Miss Saigon', 'Hair', 'The Merry Widow', 'Scrooge', and in 2009 became Miss Understanding in 'Priscilla Queen of the Desert - The Musical!' for Auckland and Sydney revival seasons.

On Camera work includes various corporate videos and as a host for Foxtel's Top 20 Disco Hits as his character from 'Priscilla Queen on the Desert - The Musical'. Michael has taught and trained at the Arts Academy Ballarat and has trained at WAAPA.

For the Production Company he's performed in 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels', 'Damn Yankees', 'Oklahoma', 'Annie Get Your Gun', and 'High Society'. He covered all male roles in MTC's 'The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee' and played the lead in Melbourne Workers Theatre's '1975'.

Spending over 17 years in the wonderful children's musicals of Garry Ginivan, Michael's played all creatures great and small in 'Possum Magic', 'My Grandma Live in Gooligulch', 'Winnie the Pooh', 'Noddy', 'The Magic Faraway Tree' and 'Peter Rabbit'. With Magnormos Michael performed lead roles in the Australian premiers of '[title of show]', 'The Beauty Spot' and Archie the Cockroach in 'Archie and Mehitable'.
